Sister Ahokava- Adelaide Mission

March 19 2013
You know this week me and my companion have been blessed!
everyday we worry about our investigators, we worry about ways we can help them. Ways we can help them find their answers. Sometimes we don't see the road ahead of us. As we ponder on these things or think heavy on it we find that revelation comes in the most unexpected ways. My companion and I took a member out teaching with us, a Sister who doesn't attend church often but has a very strong testimony we were driving back from the appointment and she said somethings that allowed us to answer some questions we had been pondering about for a very long time! You know always be aware and always know that the Lord he answers your prayers, your questions in ways we don't expect!

This week it's been a crazy week. I've felt God through it all especially in the baptism for Sister Jensen! I have felt very grateful that I was able to see her make those sacred covenants. Also I have gained a testimony for contacting and always having our eyes open for opportunities to share the gospel. Driving around in a car you begin to get caught up with getting to and from places forgetting there are people around. It's just so easy to hop in the car and go. The week before last we were looking for less actives in an area and also looking for opportunities to contact and find in between. We were driving and then suddenly we saw a girl and a boy walking by we stopped the car and introduced ourselves. We talked and talked a little about our message we got their details and even an appointment to see them. We went to them on Monday and the mother let us in. When we were talking with them we found out just how in they were both spiritually and physically. We visited them again and our member invited and offered them a ride to church. The mother throughout the time we were there said that she could feel something special coming because we were there. She knew we had something that could help her something she needed. She loved church and I know that this has been a tender mercy from the Lord.
